So, I've had this song stuck in my brain for most of the day today. I woke up singing it in my head and just haven't been able to shake it. Not that I don't like having this song stuck in my head; it's a great song. Just sayin' - there are lots of great songs but after about the third or fouth time listening to it, I think anyone would be ready for something different.

That said, as I sat down to write today's update, I decided to put the earphones on and listen to this song. Not because I wanted to hear it again (see previous paragraph), I've just heard that, if you have a song stuck in your head, listening to it will make it go away. At least until another one gets stuck in there.

Anyway, as I was listening, it occured to me that the songwriter actually wrote this song about his brand new baby girl. Sweet! Thanks God! Thanks for sticking that song in my head today. Michaela and I both needed a bit of an "uplift" and this was just the thing.

Speaking of random God-flled uplifts, we got two other ones today as well. Our sweet Aunt Jill relieved Ninna for a bit and took Mathis, Isaac and Will to meet the Hale gals and Thomas and Evan Blancher too! She sent a picture that just warmed our hearts that I've included below.

We also got pictoral confirmation from the world's awesomest dog-sitters, Brianne and Ray, that Birdee is doing just fine and, so far, has not eaten anything she wasn't supposed to (at least, as far as we know). Thank you guys!!!

We are so truly blessed to have each and every one of you in our lives and on this journey with us. Y'all are all so incredible with your prayers and your posts!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

As for the princess, Quinn has had another wonderful day. We played on the bed ALL MORNING LONG. She seems to never tire of us and we certainly don't tire of her. Every single second is truly a gift. She decided to talk a good bit more today. Nothing necessarily understandable, but I don't care. I love it. I love her. She's just amazing. And I think she kinda knows it.

As for the pictures, this is another one of those posts that's better left for your interpretation. Any commentary from me wouldn't do them justice. The pictures, along with some fresh video, are on the next page.  Enjoy!

Also, just a quick note that we may have to skip a day tomorrow as we are headed to the "home stretch" city of Guangzhou and will be traveling most of the day. If I am able, I will try to make a quick post. If not, as my grandmother used to say, "don't fret."
